Quik Stop Station No 39 September 23, 2005 <br /> Stockton California Results of Additional Subsurface invests anon <br /> identify natural surface waters or water wells that could potentially be impacted by <br /> i <br /> hydrocarbon constituents originating from the site <br /> A signed release agreement was secured from the SICEHD to review the DWR records <br /> Horizon reviewed the DWR records and identified five wells within the survey area as <br /> summarized in Table 3 The corresponding map locations are shown on Figure 4 The <br /> identified locations were visited to verify the DWR information <br /> According to Mr Eric Mar of California Water Service Company, former water well CWS # <br /> 9-01 (Map ID 1) located approximately 400 feet west-southwest of the site has been out of <br /> service for approximately 15 years but retains the well for possible water level monitoring <br /> According to personnel at HKM Machine Fabrication Company at 2150 East Fremont Street <br /> (Map ID 2) at least one of the three wells appears to have been destroyed There is no <br /> evidence of the other two wells The water well reported at 1943 East Fremont Street (Map <br /> ID 3) no longer exists, the site is currently occupied by a commercial strip mall <br /> No naturally occurring surface water bodies were identified within the survey area There <br /> are no known drinking water wells within a 2,000-foot radius of the site <br /> CONCLUSIONS <br /> The results of this additional subsurface investigation and previous investigations indicate <br /> that soil has not been impacted by gasoline hydrocarbons at the monitoring well locations <br /> Analytical results of soil samples collected during product UST, pipeline and dispenser <br /> upgrades indicate a hydrocarbon source in the vicinity of the southern gasoline dispenser <br /> Vertical and lateral delineation of gasoline hydrocarbons and, specifically DCA, in <br /> groundwater is indicated by the results of this investigation Analytical results of <br /> groundwater samples collected from hydropunch borings SB-1, SB-2 and SB-3 at 94 to 100 <br /> feet bsg indicate vertical delineation in the dispenser island area Analytical results of <br /> 7039rpt9-0) <br /> Project No 7039 16 7 HORIZON ENVIRONMENTAL INC <br />
