Quzk Stop Station No 39 September 23,2005 <br /> 3 Stockton California Results of Additional Subsurface Invests anon <br /> c� <br /> to 60 feet bsg The investigation was documented by Horizon in Subsurface Site Assessment <br /> Report dated February S, 2000 Soil analytical results are summarized on Table 2 <br /> In December 2002, Horizon conducted the first phase of the additional groundwater <br /> investigation utilizing a cone penetrometer test (CPT) rig for generation of a computer- <br /> generated soil profile and for collection of hydropunch groundwater samples The CPT log <br /> boring and a total of five soil borings (13-1 through B-5) were advanced at the locations <br /> shown on Figure 2 Hydropunch groundwater analytical results are summarized in Table 3 <br /> The CPT log is contained in Appendix B Results of the CPT investigation indicated that <br /> groundwater at the locations of the borings was not impacted by DCA The investigation <br /> results were reported in the Results of Additional Subsurface Investigation and Work plan <br /> Addendum dated February 14, 2003 <br /> In March 2003, the two gasoline dispensers were upgraded including installation of new <br /> dispenser pans Soil sampling conducted during the dispenser pan upgrade was conducted <br /> aand documented by Horizon in Results of Dispenses Pan Upgrade Soil Sampling dated April <br /> 4, 2003 Tabulated analytical results of soil samples collected for the dispenser pan upgrade <br /> are contained in Appendix B <br /> ADDITIONAL SUBSURFACE INVESTIGATION <br /> The purpose of the additional subsurface investigation was to further evaluate the vertical <br /> and lateral extent of DCA in groundwater at the site The work conducted during the second <br /> phase of additional subsurface investigation included installation of groundwater monitoring <br /> wells MW-4, MW-5 and MW-6 Monitoring well MW-6 was installed off site to the east on <br /> property owned by Centro de Vida Cristiana church at 2295 East Fremont Street <br /> Quik Stop requested and obtained an access agreement to enter the private property of <br /> Centro de Vida Cristiana to install monitoring well MW-6 and to conduct periodic sampling, <br /> 7039rpt9-05 <br /> Prop.t No 7039 16 3 HORIZON ENVIRONMENTAL INC. <br />
