Quzk Stop Station No 39 September 23,2005 3 Stockton California Results of Additional Subsurface Invests anon c� to 60 feet bsg The investigation was documented by Horizon in Subsurface Site Assessment Report dated February S, 2000 Soil analytical results are summarized on Table 2 In December 2002, Horizon conducted the first phase of the additional groundwater investigation utilizing a cone penetrometer test (CPT) rig for generation of a computer- generated soil profile and for collection of hydropunch groundwater samples The CPT log boring and a total of five soil borings (13-1 through B-5) were advanced at the locations shown on Figure 2 Hydropunch groundwater analytical results are summarized in Table 3 The CPT log is contained in Appendix B Results of the CPT investigation indicated that groundwater at the locations of the borings was not impacted by DCA The investigation results were reported in the Results of Additional Subsurface Investigation and Work plan Addendum dated February 14, 2003 In March 2003, the two gasoline dispensers were upgraded including installation of new dispenser pans Soil sampling conducted during the dispenser pan upgrade was conducted aand documented by Horizon in Results of Dispenses Pan Upgrade Soil Sampling dated April 4, 2003 Tabulated analytical results of soil samples collected for the dispenser pan upgrade are contained in Appendix B ADDITIONAL SUBSURFACE INVESTIGATION The purpose of the additional subsurface investigation was to further evaluate the vertical and lateral extent of DCA in groundwater at the site The work conducted during the second phase of additional subsurface investigation included installation of groundwater monitoring wells MW-4, MW-5 and MW-6 Monitoring well MW-6 was installed off site to the east on property owned by Centro de Vida Cristiana church at 2295 East Fremont Street Quik Stop requested and obtained an access agreement to enter the private property of Centro de Vida Cristiana to install monitoring well MW-6 and to conduct periodic sampling, 7039rpt9-05 Prop.t No 7039 16 3 HORIZON ENVIRONMENTAL INC.
