Quik Stop Station No 39 September 23,2005 <br /> Stockton California Results of Additional Subsurface Invests anon <br /> Selected soil samples were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), <br /> • the volatile aromatic compounds benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes (BTEX), <br /> methyl-t-butyl ether (MTBE), diisopropyl ether (DIPE), ethyl-t-butyl ether (ETBE), tert- <br /> amyl methyl ether (TAME), tert-butanol (TBA) methanol and ethanol (seven fuel <br /> oxygenates), DCA and 1,2-dibromoethane (EDB) by EPA Method 8260B The stockpile <br /> samples were combined into one composite sample and analyzed for TPHg and BTEX by <br /> EPA Method 8260B and for total lead by EPA Method 6010 Soil analytical reports are <br /> contained in Appendix E <br /> Horizon developed and sampled monitoring wells MW-5 and MW-6 on November 17 and <br /> monitoring well MW-4 on November 30, 2004 Well development water was contained in <br /> Department of Transportation-approved, 55-gallon drums for temporary on-site storage <br /> pending characterization and disposal Monitoring well development and purge data were <br /> recorded on monitoring well data sheets contained in Appendix F <br /> Groundwater samples were submitted, under chain-of-custody documentation, to Kiff for <br /> analysis of TPHg, BTEX, the seven oxygenates, DCA and EDB by EPA Method 8260B <br /> Groundwater analytical reports are contained in Appendix D <br /> On November 17, Horizon disposed the development water to InStrat, Inc in Rio Vista On <br /> November 19, 2004, Horizon disposed the drill cuttings stockpile to the Sacramento County <br /> Kiefer Landfill facility Soil and water disposable documents are contained in Appendix G <br /> Horizon retained Virgil Chavez Land Surveying to survey the horizontal coordinates and the <br /> top-of-casing elevation of the monitoring wells MW-4, MW-5 and MW-6 to GeoTracker <br /> specifications The survey was completed on November 23, 2004 The surveyor report is <br /> contained in Appendix H <br /> 7039rpt9 05 <br /> Project No 7039 16 5 HORIZON ENVIRONMENTAL INC <br />
