Quik Stop Station No 039 September 20, 2005 Stockton California -Ouarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes (BTEX), the fuel oxygenates methyl-t-butyl ether y (MTBE), diisopropyl ether (DIPE), ethyl-t-butyl ether (ETBE), tert-amyl methyl ether • (TAME), tert-butanol (TBA), 1,2-dichloroethane (DCA) and 1,2-dibromoethane by Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) Method 8260B Groundwater Monitoring Results Depth-to-groundwater measurements were subtracted from the surveyed TOC elevations to calculate static groundwater elevations Groundwater elevation data was used to construct a groundwater contour map (Figure 2) The groundwater flow direction for this sampling event was northward under a gradient of approximately 0 001 Groundwater analytical results are summarized in Table l The groundwater analytical report is contained in Attachment C On August 17, 2005, Horizon transported the monitoring well purge water to InStrat, Inc in Rio Vista, California for disposal Non- hazardous water transport form and payment receipt for acceptance of the purge water are contained in Attachment D GeoTracker Electronic Data Deliverables The analytical electronic data deliverable (EDD) file (EDF) was prepared by Kiff and uploaded by Horizon The groundwater level EDD (GEO_WELL) was prepared and • uploaded by Horizon The laboratory analytical EDD and groundwater well measurement EDD (GEO_WELL) upload confirmation sheets for this quarter and the Quarterly Monitoring Report EDD (GEO_REPORT) upload confirmation sheet for the previous quarter are contained in Attachment E Recommendations Horizon recommends continuous quarterly monitoring during the ongoing investigation On February 26, 2003, Horizon submitted Results of the Additional Subsurface Evaluation and Work Plan Addendum dated February 14, 2003 Horizon received approval of the work plan from San Joaquin County Environmental Heath Department in July 2004_Monitoning wells MW-4, MW-5 and MW-6 were installed in November 2004 The report on the installation of the additional wells is in preparation Report Distribution We recommend a copy of this report be forwarded to Mr Michael J Infurna Jr , Senior R E H S San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor .
