Quik Stop Station No 039 September 29, 2004 Stockton California Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report methyl ether (TAME), tert-butanol (TBA), 1,2-dichloroethane (DCA) and 1,2- dibromoethane by Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Method 8260B Groundwater Monitoring Results Depth-to-groundwater measurements were subtracted from the surveyed TOC elevations to calculate static groundwater elevations Groundwater elevation data was used to construct a groundwater contour map (Figure 2) The groundwater flow direction for this sampling event was southward under a gradient of approximately 0 0005 Groundwater analytical results are summarized in Table I The groundwater analytical report is contained in Attachment C On August 20, 2004, Horizon transported the monitoring well purge water to InStrat, Inc in Rio Vista, California for disposal Non- hazardous water transport form and payment receipt for acceptance of the purge water are contained in Attachment D GeoTracker Electronic Data Deliverables The analytical electronic data deliverable (EDD) is prepared by Kiff and uploaded by Horizon The groundwater well measurement file EDD for this quarterly monitoring event was prepared and uploaded by Horizon The EDD confirmation sheets for this quarterly event are contained in Attachment E Recommendations Horizon recommends continuous quarterly monitoring during the ongoing investigation On February 26, 2003, Horizon submitted Results of the Additional Subsurface Evaluation and Work Plan Addendum dated February 14, 2003 Horizon received approval from San Joaquin County Environmental Heath Department in July 2004 Currently, Quik Stop is in the process of obtaining an assess agreement to install the proposed off-site monitoring well MW-6 on the parcel at 2295 Fremont Street Quik Stop opted for private party access instead of City of Stockton (street) access because of prohibitive permit costs Report Distribution We recommend a copy of this report be forwarded to Mr Michael J Infurna Jr , Senior R E H S San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor P O Box 388 Stockton, California 95201-0388 7039gmr04Q3 doe Project No 7039 45 2 HORIZON ENVIRONMENTAL INC.
