Quik Stop Station No 39 December 5,2000 Stockton, California _ _Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report butyl ether (MTBE), diisopropyl ether (DIPE), ethyl-tert-butyl ether(ETBE), tert-amyl methyl ether (TAME), tert-butanol (TBA), methanol and ethanol, and the lead scavengers 1,2- dichloroethane (DCA) and 1,2-dibromoethane (DBA) by Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Method 8260B The monitoring well MW-1 sample was also analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as motor oil (TPHmo) by EPA Method 8015M Analytical results are summarized in Table 1 Copies of the laboratory data sheets and chain-of-custody reports are included as Attachment C On 2 November 2000, Horizon transported the monitoring well purge water to InStrat, Inc in Rio Vista, California for disposal A Non-Hazardous Material Profile Sheet was filled out and accompanied the shipment A payment receipt for acceptance of the purge water was received by Horizon A copy of the receipt is contained in Attachment D Results Groundwater level data collected by Horizon was used to construct a groundwater contour map (Figure 2) Depth-to-groundwater measurements were subtracted from the surveyed TOC elevations to calculate static groundwater elevations The average groundwater elevation for the site was approximately -244 feet mean sea level and represents an approximately 0 5-foot fall compared to that measured in August 2000 The groundwater flow direction was generally to the west-southwest under a gradient of approximately 0 001 • Concentrations of 280 and 310 micrograms per liter (parts per billion or ppb) TPHg were reported in groundwater samples collected from monitoring wells MW-2 and MW-3, respectively No motor oil was reported in the groundwater sample collected from monitoring well MW-1 No BTEX or MTBE were reported in the three groundwater samples Concentrations of TBA and DCA were reported in the groundwater samples as summarized in Table 1 Report Distribution We recommend a copy of this report be forwarded to Mr Michael J Infurna Environmental Health Division San Joaquin County Public Health Services P O Box 2009 Stockton, California 95201 Mr Gordon Boggs California Regional Water Quality Control Board Central Valley Region 3443 Routier Road, Suite A Sacramento, California 95827-3098 7039gmr00Q4 doc 703941 2 HORIZON ENVIRONMENTAL INC.
