Monitoring activities included measurement of static groundwater level, purging groundwater
from the wells, collection of groundwater samples, disposal of purge water, and preparation
and delivery of the samples to the analytical laboratory Horizon Field Methods and
Procedures are presented as Attachment A to this report
The depth to groundwater was measured to the nearest 0 01 foot from the top-of-casing (TOC)
in monitoring wells MW-1 through MVS -3 Field groundwater level data were recorded on
Monitoring Well Data sheets (Attachment B) and are summarized in Table 1
Field groundwater monitoring well purge data are included on Horizon Monitoring Well Data
sheets The physical parameters conductivity, pH and temperature were monitored with field
instrumentation during the purging process The visual characteristics of turbidity and
presence of free product or sheen, and the obvious olfactory characteristics of the groundwater
were also noted during the purging process
Groundwater samples were collected from groundwater monitoring wells MW-1 through
MW-3 Groundwater samples were submitted, under chain-of-custody (COC) documentation,
to Kiff Analytical LLC (Kiff), a California Department of Health Services-certified analytical
laboratory (FLAP No 2236) located in Davis, California The samples were analyzed for
total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), the volatile aromatic compounds benzene,
toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes (BTEX), and the fuel oxygenate methyl tertiary butyl
101 1 Golden Foothill Parkway Suite 7 .
