Monitoring activities included measurement of static groundwater level, purging groundwater <br /> from the wells, collection of groundwater samples, disposal of purge water, and preparation <br /> and delivery of the samples to the analytical laboratory Horizon Field Methods and <br /> Procedures are presented as Attachment A to this report <br /> The depth to groundwater was measured to the nearest 0 01 foot from the top-of-casing (TOC) <br /> in monitoring wells MW-1 through MVS -3 Field groundwater level data were recorded on <br /> Monitoring Well Data sheets (Attachment B) and are summarized in Table 1 <br /> Field groundwater monitoring well purge data are included on Horizon Monitoring Well Data <br /> sheets The physical parameters conductivity, pH and temperature were monitored with field <br /> instrumentation during the purging process The visual characteristics of turbidity and <br /> presence of free product or sheen, and the obvious olfactory characteristics of the groundwater <br /> were also noted during the purging process <br /> Groundwater samples were collected from groundwater monitoring wells MW-1 through <br /> MW-3 Groundwater samples were submitted, under chain-of-custody (COC) documentation, <br /> to Kiff Analytical LLC (Kiff), a California Department of Health Services-certified analytical <br /> laboratory (FLAP No 2236) located in Davis, California The samples were analyzed for <br /> total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), the volatile aromatic compounds benzene, <br /> toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes (BTEX), and the fuel oxygenate methyl tertiary butyl <br /> 1�01 1 Golden Foothill Parkway Suite 7 .
