Groundwater monitoring activities were conducted by Horizon on May 19, 2000 <br /> Monitoring activities included measurement of static groundwater level, purging groundwater <br /> from the wells, collection of groundwater samples, disposal of purge water, and preparation <br /> and delivery of the samples to the analytical laboratory Horizon Field Methods and <br /> Procedures are presented as Attachment A to this report <br /> The depth to groundwater was measured to the nearest 0 01 foot from the top-of-casing <br /> (TOC) m monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-3 Field groundwater level data were <br /> recorded on the Monitoring Well Data sheets (Attachment B) and are summarized in Table 1 <br /> Depth-to-groundwater measurements were subtracted from the surveyed TOC elevations to <br /> calculate groundwater elevations Field groundwater level data are included on Horizon <br /> Monitoring Well Data sheets(Attachment B) and are summarized in Table 1 <br /> Field groundwater monitoring well purge data are included on Horizon Monitoring Well Data <br /> sheets The physical parameters conductivity, pH and temperature were monitored with field <br /> instrumentation during the purging process The visual charactenstics of turbidity and <br /> presence of free product or sheen, and the obvious olfactory characteristics of the <br /> groundwater were also noted during the purging process <br /> Groundwater samples were collected from groundwater monitoring wells MW-1 through <br /> .
