FREMONT <br /> STREET, STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA has been reviewed by the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD). The plan is a <br /> proposal to allow hydrocarbons from petroleum contaminants to <br /> biodegrade naturally during which long-term groundwater monitoring will <br /> take place. <br /> The EHD has made a tentative determination that the plan is in compliance <br /> with California Health & Safety Code Chapter 6.7, Section 25299.37 and <br /> California Code of Regulation Corrective Action Requirements, and that the <br /> resultant work will not create significant adverse environmental impacts <br /> which exceed the benefits to be gained during the duration of the cleanup <br /> of the contamination. <br /> The remediation plan is available for public review at the EHD office, 1868 <br /> E. Hazelton Avenue, Stockton, California 95205 during normal <br /> working hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. <br /> Final approval for the plan is scheduled for July 2, 2012. <br /> Questions should be directed to Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS, at (209) <br /> 468-9852 or sent in writing to her at the EHD, 1868 E.
