April 141,2000 <br /> Mr Michael Infuma <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> Re Site Intiestlgation Report <br /> Shell-branded Service Station <br /> 2494 East Fremont Street <br /> Stockton, California <br /> SAP Code 136141 <br /> Incident No 98996181 <br /> Dear Mr Infurna <br /> Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) prepared this report on behalf of Equiva <br /> Services LLC (Equiva) to document the recent site investigation activities conducted on <br /> December 6, 13, 14, and 15, 1999 at the above referenced site The purpose of the <br /> investigation was to assess the vertical and lateral extent of petroleum hydrocarbons <br /> identified previously during the April 1998 site investigation San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services Environmental Health Division (SJCPHS/EHD) requested that this <br /> investigation be performed in their August 16, 1999 Ietter The work was performed in <br /> accordance with SJCPHS/EHD and Regional Water Quality Board, Central Valley Region <br /> (RWQCB)guidelines <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> Site Description The subject property is located on the southwest corner of the intersection <br /> of East Fremont Street and Filbert Street in Stockton, California The site is an operating <br /> Shell-branded service station with two underground gasoline storage tanks, one underground <br /> waste oil tank, four dispenser islands, and a station building (Figure 2) <br /> Oakland CA Previous Investigations Soil samples were collected during an underground storage tank <br /> San Ramon CA <br /> Sonoma, CA (UST), product line, and fuel dispenser replacement project in April 1996 Total purgeable <br /> Portland OR petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPPH) were identified primarily in shallow soils beneath <br /> the northern-most dispenser island near Fremont Street at concentrations ranging from 18 <br /> C ViTon parts per million (ppm) to 6,800 ppm at depths between three and five feet below rade <br /> EnvFronmmtal g <br /> Technology,Inc (fbg) Benzene concentrations in this area ranged from none detected to 9 2 ppm <br /> **kms Street <br /> P 0 Box 259 <br /> Sonoma CA 95476 <br /> Tel(707)935-4850 <br /> Fax(707)935-6649 <br />
