'CAM BRIA <br /> I <br /> January 15, 1999 <br /> Mr Mike Infurna <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> PO Box 388 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> Re Quarterly Monitoring Report -- Fourth Quarter 1998 <br /> Shell-branded Service Station <br /> 2494 Fremont Street <br /> Stockton, California <br /> WIC #204-7524-1806 <br /> Dear Mr Infurna <br /> This Quarterly Monitoring Report describes the recently completed activities associated with <br /> ground water monitoring and sampling at the referenced site (Plates 1 and 2) This report <br /> was prepared to meet quarterly reporting requirements issued by the Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board, Central Valley Region and San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> (SJCPHS) <br /> Quarterly Monitoring & Sampling Summary <br /> • Ground water monitoring and sampling for the fourth quarter of 1998 are summarized below <br /> P g <br /> i <br /> • Blaine Tech Services, Inc (Blaine), of San Jose, California measured ground water <br /> levels and collected ground water samples in Wells S-1 through S-3 on November 23, <br /> 1998 Samples were transported to Sequoia Analytical Redwood City, California for <br /> chemical analysis <br /> + Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) evaluated water-level <br /> measurement data and prepared a ground water contour map using the water level data <br /> (Plate 2) Ground water flow direction is to the northeast at an approximate <br /> hydraulic gradient of 0 001 <br /> Oakland CA <br /> Sonoma CA <br /> Portland OR • Ground water samples collected from Wells S-2 and S-3 were ND for TPPH and <br /> Seattle WA MTBE The ground water samples collected from Well S-2 was ND for benzene and <br /> Cambria the ground water sample collected from Well S-3 contained benzene at a <br /> Environmental concentration of 0 61 ppb Ground water samples collected from Well S-I contained <br /> Technology, Inc TPPH and benzene concentrations of 76,000 ppb and 5,300 ppb respectively <br /> 27o Perkins Street MTBE was not detected in the ground water sample from S-1, however the detection <br /> PO Box 259 <br /> Sonoma CA 95476 <br /> Tel(707)935'4850 <br /> Fax(707)935-6649 <br />
