This report <br /> was prepared to meet quarterly reporting requirements issued by the Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board, Central Valley' Region and San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> (SJCPHS). <br /> Quarterly Monitoring & Sampling Summary <br /> Ground water monitoring and sampling for the third quarter of 1998 are summarized .below: <br /> • Blaine Tech Services, Inc. (Blaine), of San Jose; California measured ground water <br /> levels in Wells S-1 through S-3 and collected ground water samples in Wells S-2 and <br /> S-3 on August 13, 1998. Ground.water samples were collected from Well S-1 on <br /> August-19, 1998 after. the well had been developed. Samples were transported to <br /> Sequoia Analytical Redwood City, California for chemical analysis. <br /> .• Cambria Environmental Technology, -Inc. (Cambria) evaluated water-level . <br /> measurement data and prepared a ground water contour map using the August 13, <br /> 1998 water level data (Plate 2).' Ground water flow' Arection is to the southeast at an <br /> Oakland. CA <br /> Sonoma, CA approximate hydraulic gradient of 0.002. <br /> Portland, OR <br /> Seattle, WA . Ground water samples collected from Wells S-2 and S-3 were ND for TPPH, benzene <br /> Cambria and MTBE. Ground water samples collected from Well S-I contained TPPH and <br /> Environmental benzene concentrations of.200;000 ppb and 5,000 ppb respectively. MTBE was not <br /> Technology, Inc. detected in the ground water sample from S-1, however the detection limit was <br /> ;�Perkins Street elevated (<2500).
