(Cambria) on behalf of <br /> Shell Oil Products Company (Shell)and documents,the recent site investigation conducted on <br /> October 28, 1997 at the .above referenced site (Plate 1). The investigative objective was to <br /> determine the vertical extent of hydrocarbons in.soil.below both the former underground storage <br /> tanks (UST's), and near the dispenser island located at the northern edge of the property. The <br /> scope of work followed during this investigation was presented in. Enviros, Inc.'s (Enviros) <br /> August 29, 1997 Work Plan and September 30, 1997 Work Plan Addendum. The investigation <br /> was initiated based on San Joaquin County Public Health Services (SJCPHS) correspondence dated <br /> July 11 and September 22; 1997, and telephone discussions between SJCPHS and Enviros on <br /> September 30, 1997. This work was ,performed in accordance with SJCPHS and Regional Wafer <br /> Quality Control Board (RWQCB) guidelines. <br /> CAMBRIA SITE.BACKGROUND <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL <br /> Site Description: The. site is located on the southwest corner of the intersection of East <br /> TECHNOLOGY,INC. Fremont Avenue and Filbert Street in Stockton, California. The service station layout consists <br /> ZOO PERKINS STREET, of two gasoline underground storage tanks (UST's) four product islands, and a station building. <br /> P.O.Box 259 previous Investigation: On April 25, 1996 four underground storage tanks, associated piping, <br /> SONOMA, and dispensers were removed. Based on PID readings, approximately 20 yards of gasoline soil <br /> containing petroleum hydrocarbons w_ ere over-excavated from the former tank pit.
