F <br /> 7. Accidental Release and Disposal <br /> Steps to be taken in case material is released or spilled: Wear protective equipment. Neutralize <br /> spilled materials (absorb, pump, vacuum, shovel) immediately. Prevent run off to drains, sewers, streams <br /> or other public waterways. Follow all precautions for handling this product when dealing with spills. <br /> Waste disposal method: Waste material may be dumped under conditions that meet all Federal, State <br /> and local environmental control regulations. <br /> Empty containers: Residues of this product may remain in emptied containers. Containers should not <br /> be used without professional cleaning and reconditioning. Empty containers should be rinsed before <br /> disposal. Follow all precautions on label when dealing with empty containers. <br /> 8. Personal Protective Equipment <br /> Respiratory protection: An appropriate NIOSH approved respirator for dust should be worn. <br /> Ventilation: Use of local ventilation is suggested when using this product. <br /> Eyelface protection: Wear safety glasses with side shields. <br /> Skin protection: Wear impermeable rubber or plastic gloves, Wear a rubber or plastic apron. Wear <br /> normal work clothes, long sleeved shirt and pants and clean after every shift. <br /> Personal protective equipment: Eye wash fountain and emergency showers are recommended. <br /> Good industrial practice: In accordance with good industrial practice, avoid all personal contact. For <br /> good hygiene, a shower at the end of every shift is recommended. Wash hands well before eating. <br /> 9. f=irst Aid Measures <br /> Inhalation: If dust or vapors of this product is inhaled, remove to fresh air. Get medical attention if <br /> symptoms develop or persist. <br /> Ingestion: If conscious, give victim two glasses of water to dilute ingested material. Get medical <br /> attention. <br /> Skin: Wash skin contact with soap and water. if irritation develops, get medical attention. <br /> Eyes: Immediately flush eye contact with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical <br /> attention. <br /> 10. Exposure Control <br /> Engineering controls: Use general ventilation and use local exhaust where possible in confined spaces. <br /> 11. Toxicological <br /> Acute toxicity: No specific acute hazards are known to us.
