UST owners <br /> are included in this new requirement. A copy of the SVVRBC Oyer entitled "ACT NOVV', <br /> explaining the responsibilities OfUST owners and the deadlines by which you must COnnp|y, is <br /> enclosed with this letter. <br /> This second notification is being sent through certified mail so you understand the importance <br /> of the January 1. 2005. deadline to (described below) <br /> and identify the ICC certified_Designated UST Operator(s)* for all of Vour underground storage <br /> ~ located within San Joaquin County. <br /> The owner's compliance statement mentioned above is required pursuant to California Code of <br /> ^ <br /> Regulations, Title 23. section 2715 (a) which reads: <br /> By January 1, 2005` owners of underground storage tank systems shall <br /> submit a signed statement to the local agency indicating that the owner <br /> understands and is in compliance with all applicable underground storage <br /> tank requirements, and identifying the designated USTopenator/s\ for each <br /> facility owned. The owner shall inform the local agency of any change of <br /> designated UST oparator(s) nolater than 3Odays after the change. <br /> To help you comply with these nSquinann9nts. the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department (EHO) is enclosing o document entitled ^(]vvner Statements of Designated <br /> Underground Storage Tank (UST) Operator and Understanding of and COrnp|i8nmn with UST <br /> Requirements".
