SrP - 2006
ENVIRONMENT HEALTH Aug. 11,2006
PERMIT/SERVICES
To: Muniappa Naidu
San Joaquin County E.H.
From: Dan McILrath D./O.
For St. Services, 3505 Navy Dr.
Stockton, 95206
Muni,
In regards to the two other issues at this location that they asked me to
handle for them. #1- The emergency underground tank that is not monitored
By me or an ATG, here is a copy of the paper work that the tank has been
Pumped out, I have a daily sheet I made up for them to stick o a daily basis
To monitor this tank and it will be kept in the UST book that I made for
them and kept there along with any paper work showing if it has been
Pumped out, it will include daily stickings along with the operators name
and date. Hopefully this will avoid any further problems with product being
in this tank, I will also be checking this for them along with my once a
month inspection as there D./O.
#2-The repairs to the secondary lines that failed on the 989 testing, I had a
contractor come in during the month of July to hellium test the line to find
the leak, however the leak is so small they could not find it without digging
up the whole line, the problem being that no one has been able to provide me
with a plot plan or a diagram as to where and which direction this line goes,
I have filled a file review with your department to hopefully see if your
Department has a diagram when his was installed. Since this has all started
I had a meeting with St.Servics environmental people, they were totally
Surprised that this tank and lines were even there as all of the tanks that run t
This tank are abandoned or not in use, I will keep working on the
repairs, however they advise me that they may contact your office as to
removing this tank and the lines.
Thank You, Dan McILrath D./O.
Valley Underground Tank
209-6 -8956
