(ATC) and has the following
comments.'
ATC recommends in the reportreducing monitoring and sampling of wells MW-1 and MW-2
to a semi-annual schedule, and wells MW-3 through MW=7 to an annual schedule. The EHD
approved annual sampling of wells MW-3 through MW-7 in correspondence dated
November 19, 2003. Wells MW-1 and. MW-2 may be reduced to the proposed semi-annual
schedule.
ATC also has formalized their proposal, originally made to the EHD in a phone conversation,
to conduct a rebound test of the soil vapor extraction (SVE) remediation system which has
been in full time operation at your, site since January 2007. The EHD agreed with this
proposal by email on February 19, 2009, and understands that rebound test began on
February 13, 2009. ATC did not propose a time frame. for the rebound test; the EHD
recommends the SVE system be restarted after three months of non-operation, or no later
than May 15, 2009. Evaluation of the site for closure cannot be done until it is determined
that no further corrective action is required.
If you have any questions please call Lori Duncan at (209) 468-0337.
Sincerely,
Lori Duncan, REHS Nuel C.
