.ti
page 2, 2804 Fremont Street
A review of historical records for this site indicates that in.1972 a county permit was
issued for the installation of an,800-gallon grease and sand trap, which was connected
to a 40-foot leach line leading to a 48-inch diameter, 25-foot deep drain pit. A map
accompanying the permit shows this system as being located.on the east site of the
shop area of the site. PHSIEHD is concerned that if this system still exists at the site, it
may be contributing to the groundwater contamination.
The work plan is approved with-the changes discussed. Two;well permit applications
and fees were submitted with the work plan. These applications have been processed i
and permits # 0027241'and # 0027242 have been issued. Please proceed with
scheduling the approved work. Forty-eight hours notice to PHSIEHD is required prior to
h
the initiation of fieldwork.
If you have any questions or comments please call Lori Duncan at (209)468-0337.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
CA4
Lori Duncan, Senior REHS Dot Lofst m R.G.
LOP/Site Mitigation:Unit IV Engineering Geologist
j
cc: Marty Hartzell, CVRWQCB
Jeanne Homsey, ATC Associates Inc.
`r
f
