Fremont Street, Stockton, <br /> California. Figure 1 presents the site location. <br /> Site Description <br /> The property consists of roughly 3.84 acres encompassing San Joaquin County Assessor's Parcel <br /> Numbers(APNs) 143-080-55 and 143-080-57. The property is relatively flat and sits at an elevation of <br /> approximately 25 feet above mean sea level, in an area of Stockton, California zoned for commercial, <br /> business. Figure 1 presents the site location. <br /> The property currently houses an equipment rental service company, United Rentals, and includes a <br /> structure of approximately 30,000 square feet, an exterior storage yard, paved parking areas, and <br /> landscaped grounds. The structure contains an inactive equipment wash area with associated drains and a <br /> clarifier in the southernmost '/3 of the building, and an active wash rack, drains and a clarifier in the <br /> northernmost 1/3 of the building. The wash racks, drains, and clarifiers are reportedly connected to the <br /> municipal sewer system. Figure 2 presents a site plan/aerial photograph showing the primary features of <br /> the site. <br /> Regional Geology and Hydrogeology <br /> The subject site is located within the San Joaquin Valley, a broad structural trough bounded by the Sierra <br /> Nevada and Coast Ranges of California. The San Joaquin Valley,which comprises the southern portion of <br /> the Great Valley of California,has been filled with up to 30,000 feet of sedimentary deposits ranging in age <br /> from Jurassic to Holocene.
