Fremont Street in Stockton, California. The purpose of the Phase II LSI is to <br /> preliminarily assess the subsurface soil at the locations of the active and inactive wash racks and <br /> associated clarifiers/drains,and the inactive hydraulic hoist based on the past industrial uses of the subject <br /> site since the early-1970s. The Phase II LSI is being conducted as part of a bank loan and not at the <br /> request of a regulatory agency. <br /> 2.0 SITE LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION <br /> The subject site is located at the northeast comer of E. Fremont and N. Golden Gate Avenue in Stockton, <br /> San Joaquin County, California. According to the United States Geological Survey, 7.5 minute Stockton <br /> West, California topographic quadrangle map, dated 1968, photorevised 1987, the subject site is situated <br /> in Section 44, Township 1 North, Range 7 East, Mount Diablo Baseline and Meridian.
