As has been the case with <br /> previous groundwater monitoring at the site, -no detectable levels of benzene, toluene; <br /> ethylbenzene, total xylenes (method.8020), or total volatile hydrocarbons (method 8015) were <br /> observed in any of the samples. <br /> Chevron has been monitoring.the groundwater at this site since the installation of groundwater <br /> monitoring wells in Februaryof 1987. Due to the lack of detectable hydrocarbons in the soil and <br /> I` <br /> groundwater at,the site, the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department and the Central <br /> Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) approved a request to reduce the <br /> monitoring frequency at the site to-an annual basis.
