Fremont St . , Stkn <br /> Review of the preliminary site assessment report on the above facility <br /> reveals groundwater contamination from the underground storage tanks <br /> removed on 1-30-87 . Due to the presence of private and municipal <br /> water supply wells in this area, the following shall be required: <br /> �'. Provide plot map identifying all wells within 2 mile of the <br /> above facility within 10 working days of the date of this letter . <br /> All domestic water supply wells within 4 mile radius shall be <br /> sampled for BX and TPHC to verify there is no health threat <br /> from this contamination. This sampling shall be initiated <br /> within 15 working days of the date of this letter. <br /> The enclosed UAR report form shall be completed and returned to <br /> this office within 5 days of the date of this letter. <br /> 4. A proposal to identify the vertical and horizontal extent of <br /> soil and groundwater contamination shall be submitted to this <br /> agency and the California Valley Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board within 30 days of the date of this letter. <br /> The San Joaquin Local Health District has no objection to backfilling <br /> the existing excavation with clean fillto•prevent a safety hazard. <br /> Contact the San Joaquin County Air Pollution Control District regarding <br /> any proposed aeration of contaminated soil. .
