The site was revisited on October 29, 1993. On this date,
seven of the eight monitoring wells were located, gauged, and sampled. Three of the seven wells
contained water, EA-6, MW-4, and MW-5, while the other four wells were dry. Monitoring well EA-5
was not located on either date. A potentiometric surface map (Figure 1) and a summary of
groundwater monitoring data for both dates are included in Table 1.
After measuring DTW, the three monitoring wells with water were purged and sampled. The
groundwater samples were analyzed for dissolved benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes
(BTEX), and total petroleum hydrocarbons-as-gasoline (fPH-G). Results of the chemical analyses
are summarized in Table 1. Laboratory reports and chain-of-custody manifests are included in
Attachment 1. All purge water generated during the sampling process was collected in a Department
of Transportation (DOT)-approved purge water trailer and transported for recycling to the Chevron
refinery in Richmond, California.
r43
Offices throughout the U.S..Canada and Overseas
