FREMONT ST. <br /> STOCKTON, CA 95215 <br /> ON 11/19/93 4-500 GALLON UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANKS WERE REMOVED <br /> FROM THIS SITE AND CONTAMINATION WAS FOUND UNDER_THE-.NORTH_'TANK <br /> THE PROBABLE CAUSE WAS OVERSPILL. WHEN WE REMOVED THE TANKiWE <br /> FOUND CONTAMINATION AND AT THIS TIME TOOK A SOIL SAMPLE- WHICH WAS <br /> CONTAMINATED. PERMISSION WAS GIVEN BY ELEANOR RATLIFF THE INSPECTOR <br /> ON SITE TO OVEREXCAVATE THE AREA TO SEE HOW BAD CONTAMINATION WAS . <br /> SHE INSTRUCTED US TO PLACE CONTAMINATED SOIL ON PLASTIC SHEETING`• <br /> AND WRAP . IT WAS t ,EFT ON SITE. SHE ALLOWED US TO EXCAVATE, ANOTHER <br /> SAMPLE AT APPROX j,!� FT. DEEP . THIS SAMPLE CAME BACK CLEAN FROM I <br /> THE LAB (SEE ENCLOSED REPORT) .
