Ogden Environmental Services May 3, 1990 <br /> William S. Rickman Page 3 <br /> Purging of the wells and collection of the samples will be performed with a <br /> Teflon bailer. Prior to purging and sampling, the bailer will be cleaned by <br /> rinsing with methanol and three successive rinses of organic free distilled <br /> water. The samples will be retained in containers provided by the environmental <br /> laboratory. Care will be taken to insure that no air bubbles are retained in <br /> vials provide for volatile organic analysis during the filling process. The <br /> sample will be placed in a cooler with ice prior to transporting to the environ- <br /> mental laboratory. Chain-of-custody forms will be completed at the time of <br /> sample collection and will be shipped with the samples. The water samples will <br /> be analyzed for BTEX by EPA method 602 and total lead by EPA method 7421. <br /> Quarterly Reports. Quarterly reports will be prepared documenting the <br /> results of sampling and analysis. An initial report will be submitted document- <br /> ing construction details of the monitoring wells, chemical analysis of soil <br /> samples collected during the well installation, and well survey data. <br /> We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to Ogden.
