Upon revisiting the CAP that was written in
November 2002, we were looking into new technologies that would solve the remedial
problems on the site. Due to the "unknown feasibility and costs" and the lack of
available supporting data for Option 6 (ISOCs), Clearwater now recommends the
election of Option 1 in the previously submitted CAP . Option 1 would entail using Soil
Vapor Extraction with a catox or carbon unit for the impacted soil, and Air Sparging and
{ Groundwater Extraction for impacted groundwater.
C
Clearwater-will-prepare-a-Remedial-Action Plan (RAP)-for Option-i-within 45 days
unless directed otherwise from your office.
