Recommendation : <br /> In April 2008 , the Fund made the following recommendation : The Fund concurs <br /> with the San Joaquin County LOP that a limited investigation be conducted to <br /> confirm that the extent of groundwater contamination has been defined east of <br /> the site . The Fund also believes the Responsible Party should assess the <br /> effectiveness of the current groundwater treatment system . Benzene <br /> concentrations vary greatly seasonally suggesting the current sparge interval <br /> may not be optimal .
