I have summarized the action items below:
• AGE will prepare a work plan on behalf of Mr. Skobrak for the installation of
additional vapor extraction wells and air sparging wells, focusing on the Miner
Avenue side of the site (former southern UST Area).
• Turn the existing vapor extraction/air sparging system off. Continue to keep the
system off pending the approval and installation of the additional vapor extraction
wells to address the former southern UST area. Once the new wells have been
installed, they will be plumbed into the existing system. Systems can then be re-
started.
• AGE will provide a professional evaluation regarding the vapor intrusion (VI) risk
at the site. It was decided to wait until the pending low-threat policy has officially
passed; the low-threat policy provides some guidance on the evaluation of VI
issues for tank sites. This would likely provide a clear direction for any VI issues at
the site.
It was determined that the work plan identified in the first action items would be submitted
on or before 01 July 2012.
If you have any changes, deletions or additions to the "action" items, please let us know
as soon as possible.
Again, thank you for the productive meeting regarding the subject site.
Sincerely,
Robert E.
