.00 <br /> 20 October 2004 <br /> AGE-NC Project No. 95-0184 <br /> Page 4 of 4 <br /> Following collection,ground water samples will be analyzed at a State of California Department of <br /> Health Services (DHS)-certified laboratory for: <br /> • TPH-g and TPH-d by EPA Method 8015 Modified; <br /> • BTEX by EPA Method 826013; and <br /> • Fuel additives including methyl-tert-butyl-ether(MTBE), di-isopropyl ether(DIPE), ethyl <br /> tertiary-butyl ether(ETBE),tertiary-amyl methyl ether(TAME)tertiarybutyl alcohol(TBA), <br /> 1,2-dichloroethene (1,2-DCA) and 1,2-dibromoethane (EDB), in accordance with EPA <br /> method 8260B Full Scan. <br /> Procedures for the advancement of CPT borings, grab ground water sampling at discrete water- <br /> bearing intervals, and boring abandonment were described in the AGE-prepared Work Plan <br /> Addendum -February 2001,dated 15 August 2001;the precise boring locations will be based upon <br /> access agreements with neighboring property owners and the city of Stockton, and the locations of <br /> underground utilities. <br /> An encroachment permit will be obtained from the city of Stockton prior to commencement of <br /> drilling on city property or highway.Drilling permits will be obtained from the EHD.A Site Health <br /> & Safety Plan is currently on file with your office for the referenced site. <br /> Based on the results of the CPT survey, shallow-screened and deep-screened monitoring and vapor <br /> extraction wells will be installed,and soil vapor extraction/in-situ air sparging pilot tests will follow. <br /> The wells will be designed to monitor potential zones of migration of impacted soil and ground <br /> water as identified by the CPT results.
