.00 20 October 2004 AGE-NC Project No. 95-0184 Page 4 of 4 Following collection,ground water samples will be analyzed at a State of California Department of Health Services (DHS)-certified laboratory for: • TPH-g and TPH-d by EPA Method 8015 Modified; • BTEX by EPA Method 826013; and • Fuel additives including methyl-tert-butyl-ether(MTBE), di-isopropyl ether(DIPE), ethyl tertiary-butyl ether(ETBE),tertiary-amyl methyl ether(TAME)tertiarybutyl alcohol(TBA), 1,2-dichloroethene (1,2-DCA) and 1,2-dibromoethane (EDB), in accordance with EPA method 8260B Full Scan. Procedures for the advancement of CPT borings, grab ground water sampling at discrete water- bearing intervals, and boring abandonment were described in the AGE-prepared Work Plan Addendum -February 2001,dated 15 August 2001;the precise boring locations will be based upon access agreements with neighboring property owners and the city of Stockton, and the locations of underground utilities. An encroachment permit will be obtained from the city of Stockton prior to commencement of drilling on city property or highway.Drilling permits will be obtained from the EHD.A Site Health & Safety Plan is currently on file with your office for the referenced site. Based on the results of the CPT survey, shallow-screened and deep-screened monitoring and vapor extraction wells will be installed,and soil vapor extraction/in-situ air sparging pilot tests will follow. The wells will be designed to monitor potential zones of migration of impacted soil and ground water as identified by the CPT results.
