Site Background Information: Larry's Auto
Page 6 of 8
The fuel additives DIPE, TAME, and 1,2-DCA were detected. DIPE was detected in sample
CPT-1-66 at a concentration of 2.3 µg/1.TAME was detected in samples CPT 1-66 and CPT5-67 at
concentrations of 65 µg/1 and 120 µg/1, respectively. 1,2-DCA was detected in samples CPT I-66 and
CPT5-67 at concentrations of 13 µg/l and 58 µg/1, respectively.
HU3
Only one ground water sample (CPT5-108) was collected from the base of HU3. TPH-g was
detected at 7,200 µg/l, BTEX compounds were detected at 980 µg/1 benzene, 560 µg/1 toluene,
570µg/1 ethylbenzene,and 1,530µg/1 xylenes;the fuel additives DIPE,TAME,and 1,2-DCA were
detected at concentrations of 3.8 µg/l, 76 µg/1, and 34 µg/1, respectively.
HU4
TPH-g was detected in samples CPTI-117,CPTI-135,and CPT6-117 at concentrations of 450µg/1,
5,800 µg/1, and 240 µg/1, respectively. BTEX compounds were detected in samples CPTI-117,
CPTI-135, and CPT6-117 at maximum concentrations of 180 µg/1 benzene, 690 µg/1 toluene,
240 µg/1 ethylbenzene, and 1,050 µg/1 total xylenes, in the sample from CPT I-135. Fuel additives
were not detected.
HU5
Only one ground water sample(CPTH-138)was collected from HUS;petroleum hydrocarbons were
not detected in this sample.
HU6
TPH-g was detected in samples CPT1-162 and CPTI-191 at concentrations of 1,500 µg/1 and
20,000µg/I,respectively. BTEX compounds were detected in samples CPT I-162 and CPT 1-191 at
maximum concentrations of 89µg/1 benzene,220µg/1 toluene, 120µg/1 ethylbenzene and 910µg/l
total xylenes, in sample CPT 1-191. Fuel additives were not detected. No additional petroleum
hydrocarbons were detected at or above laboratory reporting limits.
ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF SOIL SAMPLES
Two soil samples were collected for laboratory analysis, one at the HUI/HU2 boundary(CPTI-60)
and the other in HU6(CPT8-155).No petroleum hydrocarbons were detected at or above laboratory
reporting limits.
Advanced GeoEnvironmenlal,Inc
