INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br />' In accordance with a request from Mr Charles Skobrak,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) <br /> has prepared this report summarizing ground water monitoring activities performed at 308 North <br /> Grant Street, Stockton, California Activities presented in this report include a ground water <br />' monitoring event conducted 10 October 1995, installation of one ground water monitoring well, one <br /> soil boring and four vapor extraction wells in February 1996, and a ground water monitoring event <br /> conducted on 24 July 1997 The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1 - Location Map <br />' Structures and well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 -Site Plan <br /> 3= <br /> Field work was performed in accordance with San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> t <br /> 20. BACKGROUND <br /> 2 1 SITE LOCATION <br />' The site is located in a commercial area of low topographic relief in central Stockton, on the <br /> northeast corner of the intersection of Grant Street and Miner Avenue (Figure 1) The site is <br /> currently operated as Larry's Auto Repair and was formerly operated as De Rollo Mazda The <br />' property is occupied by a single building with attached canopy and a parking area(Figure 2) <br />' 2 2 UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK REMOVALS <br /> On 24 April 1987,one 1,000-gallon gasoline underground storage tank(Tank A) was removed from <br />! the northwestern corner of the site One 1,000-gallon gasoline UST and one 1,000-gallon diesel UST <br /> (Tanks B & C) were removed from beneath the sidewalk at the southeastern corner of the site on 25 <br />' May 1990 Petroleum hydrocarbons were detected in soil samples collected beneath tanks A, B and <br /> C <br />' On 19 October 1988, one 300-gallon waste oil UST was removed from the site near the northern <br /> property line and the canopy Only low concentrations of TCE and chloroform were detected in the <br /> sample collected beneath the UST <br /> 1 <br /> t <br /> Advanced GcoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
