' 31 January 2000
AGE-NC Protect No 95-0184
' shallower ground water where the maximum hydrocarbon impact would be expected The
lower hydrocarbon concentrations detected in samples collected from MW-1, MW-2 and
-lower
are probably due to this deep drowning of these wells
' • Ground water is currently within the screened interval in vapor well VW-5B and near the top
of the screened interval in vapor wells VW-3 and VW-4 The data collected from these wells
' should be representative of shallow ground water conditions in the immediate vicinity
• Concentration of hydrocarbons detected at the site have generally remained stable when
' compared to previous monitoring events
• The inferred ground water flow direction was toward the east during the November 1999
monitoring event The inferred flow direction has generally been to\N and the east to southeast
' at the site
' 5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based upon data collected from the site, AGE recommends the following
• A work plan has been prepared for the installation of additional wells and performance of
' feasibility testing Field work should begin upon approval of the work plan
• The next ground water monitoring event will be scheduled for February 2000
1
' 6.0 LIMITATIONS
Our professional ser\ices were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised ;y
' environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based upon
analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluations of the geologic/hydiogeologic
conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation were made from a limited number of
' available data points (i e monitoring wells), and subsurface conditions may vary away from these
data points No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the professional
recommendations contained in this report
4dianctd GLOEn\Irosu1nn1 il Inc
