INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Charles Skobrak,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE)has prepared this <br />' quarterly report for the property located at 308 North Grant Street, Stockton, California(site) <br /> The scope of work included installation and development of two ground water extraction wells, <br />' quarterly ground water monitoring, and preparation of this report <br /> The location of the site and the surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1 Structures and <br />' monitoring well locations at the site are illustrated in Figure 2 Site background information is <br /> provided in Appendix A <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br />' Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines issued by the Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)for the investigation of underground storage tank(UST) <br />' • sites Procedures for the sampling of the monitoring and extraction wells were described in the AGE- <br /> prepared Well Installation and Feasibility Study Work Plan -November 2004, dated 19 November <br /> 2004 and also Work Plan Addendum, dated 29 September 2005 <br /> 21 EXTRACTION WELL INSTALLATION, DEVELOPMENT AND SURVEY <br />' Two ground water extraction wells(EW-1 and EW-2)were installed on 0I and 02 November 2005 <br /> and developed on 16 November 2005 <br /> 1 <br /> 2 1 1 Drilling and Sampling <br /> The two pilot borings for extraction wells EW-1 and EW-2 were advanced using a CME-75HT drill <br /> rig, equipped with 10-inch diameter hollow-stem augers The drill rig and three-man crew were <br /> supplied by Cascade Drilling Inc of Sacramento Auger returns generated by drilling were <br /> containerized in properly labeled DOT-approved model 17H 55-gallon drums and stored on-site <br />' Based on the adequate stratigraphic data from the site,a grab soil sample set was collected ahead of <br /> the drill bit using a core barrel to allow for proper placement of the well screens The samples were <br /> collected from extraction well pilot boring EW-2, beginning at 30 feet below surface grade (bsg) <br />' The sampling intervals were recorded on the boring logs <br /> • <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
