I30 September 2005 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 95-0184 <br /> Page 3 of 5 <br /> I <br /> MW-1 through MW-4, MW-7, VW-2B, and VW-5C <br /> 1 <br /> As last quarter results indicated, the ground water appeared to flow generally east across much of <br /> Ithe site under an average hydraulic gradient of approximately 0 002 foot/foot (ft/ft, Figure 3) <br />' 3 2 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF WATER SAMPLES <br /> TPH-g was detected in all of the sampled monitoring wells at concentrations ranging from <br /> 620 micrograms per liter (µg/1) in MW-7 to 420,000 µg/l in VW-513 TPH-d was detected in the <br /> sample from MW-4 at a concentration of 24,000 µg11 A map of dissolved TPH concentrations are <br /> illustrated on Figure 4 <br /> I - r <br /> Various BTEX compounds were detected in all ground water samples analyzed The maximum <br /> concentrations detected were 120;000 µg/1 benzene (VW-4), 180,000 µg/1 toluene, 30,000 µg/1 <br /> I ethylbenzene,and 211,000µg/1 total xylenes(VW-5B) A map of dissolved benzene concentrations <br /> are illustrated on Figure 5 <br /> MTBE was detected in samples from wells VW-3 and VW-4 at concentrations of 06µg/l (VW-3) <br /> and 94 pg/1 (VW-4) A map of dissolved MTBE concentrations is shown on Figure 6 <br /> The lead scavenger 1,2-DCA was detected in MW-2, MW-4, VW-2B, VW-3,VW-4, VW-5B, and <br /> VW-5C at concentrations ranging from 39 µg/l (VW-5C)to 1,200 µg/l (VW-3), EDB was detected <br /> in MW-4, VW-213 and VW-513 at concentrations ranging from 31 µg/1 (MW-4) to 100 µg/1 <br /> (VW-2B) A map of dissolved 1,2-DCA concentrations is shown on Figure 7 <br /> I Six additional VOCs were detected at the following maximum concentrations naphthalene at <br /> 5,500 µg/l, 1,2,4-trimethylbenzene at 35,000 µg/l, n-propylbenzene at 5,300 µg/1, <br /> 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene at 11,000 µg/1, isopropylbenzene at 1,500 pg/l and p-isopropyltouene at <br /> 75 µg/l (VW-5B) <br /> Analytical results of ground water samples are summarized in Tables 2 and 3 Copies of the, <br /> I laboratory report(CTEL Project No CT214-0506174), quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) <br /> reports, and chain of custody forms are included in Appendix D Documents confirming the upload <br /> of laboratory electronic deliverable format (EDF) files and depth to water measurements to <br />' GeoTracker are included in Appendix E. <br /> I <br /> i <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> I <br />
