QUARTERLY GROUND WATER <br /> MONITORING AND SAMPLING REPORT <br /> for <br /> Mobil oil Corporation <br /> Former Mobil Oil Bulk Plant <br /> 500 East Grantline Road <br /> Tracy, California <br /> January 21, 1992 <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> This report presents the results and findings of the <br /> August 1991 quarterly r apd water monitoring and sampling <br /> performed by Alton Geoscience at former Mobil Oil Bulk Plant, <br /> 500 East Grantline Road, Tracy, . California. The site is <br /> presently a fenced, vacant lot at an elevation of <br /> approximately 33 feet above mean sea level (NGVD-1929 ) . <br /> Adjacent properties are either vacant or commercial and <br /> industrial developments . A site vicinity map is shown in <br /> Figure 1 and a site plan is shown in Figure 2. <br /> Mobil Oil Corporation abandoned the former bulk storage and <br /> distribution plant in 1988 . All structures were removed from <br /> the property including one underground gasoline tank and four <br /> ` aboveground diesel fuel storage tanks . Chronological details <br /> are presented in Appendix A, Project Background. <br /> FIELD PROCEDURES <br /> On August 21, 1991, Alton Geoscience performed quarterly <br /> ground water monitoring and sampling of Monitoring Wells <br /> AW-1 through AW-8 in accordance with the requirements and <br /> procedures of the Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (RWQCB) and the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Division (SJCEHD) . <br /> Ground water samples were analyzed for TPH-G, TPH-D, and <br /> BTEX at Sequoia Analytical of Concord, California. The <br /> ground water monitoring and sampling procedures are presented <br /> in Appendix B. The water sampling field survey forms <br /> presenting the field measurements and observations are <br /> presented in Appendix C. <br /> 1 <br />
