MEAYS <br /> SITE: FORMER MOBIL BULK PLANT 04-343 <br /> 500 EAST GRANTLINE ROAD <br /> TRACY, CALIFORNIA <br /> RE: RISK ASSESSMENT WORK PLAN <br /> Dear Ms. Meays: <br /> Alton Geoscience submits this risk assessment work plan for former Mobil Oil Corporation Bulk <br /> Plant, located at 500 East Grantline Road in Tracy, California (Figure 1). <br />` . 1.0 OBJECTIVES <br /> f , <br /> The proposed risk assessment activities will be performed to: <br /> • characterize the aquifer characteristics beneath the site; <br /> 0 prepare a site-specific health risk assessment and environmental fate model of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons in soil and ground water beneath the site. <br /> 2.0 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> Present Site Use: The site is currently a fenced, vacant lot. Adjacent properties are either <br /> vacant or commercial and.industrial developments, as shown in Figure 2. <br /> The site is bounded by vacant lots to the east and south. Doane Products <br /> Company is located .to the west, across the Southern Pacific Railroad <br /> (SPRR).' Residential property is located to the northwest, across the <br /> SPRR and East Grantline Road. Leprino Foods is to the north, `across <br /> East Grantline Road. In August 1988, Mobil Oil Corporation abandoned <br /> ii the site.
