1998
2/2/98 PHS/EHD requests groundwater investigation (DTW estimated at
100'bgs). y
2/6/98 Remedial Action Report 1?y Geological Technics completed. Consultant
reports 85 Gallons of Fuel Hydrocarbons Removed by SVE system.
Consultant to RP recalculates the residual mass prior to SVE operation }
mass is now estimated at 1144 lbs (significant disparity). SVE system
removed from site without consent of PHS/EHD_ See attached data
Tables dated 2/6/98.
11/19/98 PHS/EHD approves monitor well installation after review by USTCF. ,
i
4/2/99 The first intrusive groundwater investigation was completed consisting of
one hollow stem auger boreholes completed as a monitor well, logged, and
sampled to a total_ depth of 110' bgs (MW-1 110', sampled from 60 to
110'). Boreholes were installed on 4/5-7/95 and 4/21/95. DTW was
recorded as 89.70' bgs on 4/8/99 and 93.72' bgs on 5/19/99_ The well was
sampled and analyses indicated that groundwater was not impacted with
TPH-G; BTEX or oxygenates using acceptable detection limits.
6/7/99 Soil and Groundwater Investigation Report by Geological Technics
completed. Conclusions by the consultant now suggests that contaminant
mass is insignificant and groundwater impact is unlikely over some
undefined time interval. Recommendations by the consultant include a
request'for no further action by PHS/EHD.
7/30/ evaluation 1
99 Closure eva 1 a on comp ete.
j
