KLEINFELDER
monitoring events in 2000, groundwater monitoring was not performed again
until April 2004. Four consecutive monitoring events were performed between
April 2004 and January 2005. Beyond a single detection of xylenes at 1.1 ug/L
in MW-2 during the April 2004 sampling event,MTBE was the only constituent
detected. The highest concentration of MTBE detected during the four events
was 2 ug/L in MW-2 (October 13, 2004). During the most recent monitoring
event (January 2005) MTBE was detected In MW-2 at 1.7 ug/L Petroleum
hydrocarbons were not detected in MW-1, MW-3, and MW-4 during January
2005. Petroleum hydrocarbons were not detected above laboratory reporting
limits in deep well MW-4 during the four quarterly monitoring events.
In summary, the extent of MTBE impacted groundwater appears to limited to the shallow
groundwater zone in the near vicinity of the former UST. The plume appears to be stable and
does not appear to be migrating.
49014-1/SAC5R423 Page 9 of 17 June 30,2005
Copyright 2005 Kleinfelder,Inc
