URS <br /> ' Ms Carol Oz R E H S Page 4 <br /> ' LOP/Site Mitigation Unit <br /> San Joaquin County—Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> ' December 7, 2000 <br /> Quarterly Groundwater Analytical Results <br /> iGroundwater samples were collected from the three wells at the Site The samples were analyzed for <br /> TPH-G using modified EPA Method 8015, and BTEX, MTBE,TBA, DIPE, ETBE, and TAME using <br /> ' EPA Method 8260B Laboratory analysis results of groundwater samples collected from the monitoring <br /> wells are presented in Table 2 TPH-G and BTEX were not detected in either of the three monitoring <br /> well samples MTBE was not detected in monitoring well MW-2, however MTBE was detected in MW- <br /> 1 at 41 micrograms per liter(µg/L)and in MW-3 at 2 1 µgJL The QA/QC duplicate sample results were <br /> consistent and confirm the laboratory procedures The analytical results are shown on Table 2 and a <br /> copy of the analytical laboratory report is provided in Attachment H <br /> ' PROPOSED FUTURE ACTIVITIES <br /> ' In a letter dated October 6, 2000, the SJCEHD requested a workplan to determine to lateral and vertical <br /> extent of groundwater contamination at the Site In order to further assess the lateral extent of <br /> . groundwater contanvnation at the Site,URS is proposing the installation of two additional groundwater <br /> monitoring wells (MW4 and MW5) The location of the wells is shown on Figure 2 The groundwater <br /> monitoring wells will be installed according to the procedures outlined in the URS Workplan for <br /> Environmental Services at the California Highway Patrol Facility Located at 385 West Grantline Road <br /> to Tracy, California, dated March 13, 2000 <br /> ' Following installation of the new wells, they will be surveyed to the same datum as the original three <br /> monitoring wells The new wells will also be developed and incorporated into the next round of <br /> sampling Development procedures will follow those outlined in the above mentioned workplan dated <br /> March 13, 2000 <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br /> ' 11SACDATA2ISHARED1PHIL\PROJECTSIRESDITRACY110_31_OOREPORTM DOC <br />
