I <br /> 1 � <br /> 5.0 QUALITY CONTROL/QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM � <br /> E <br /> ' Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) measures will be taken to confirm the integrity of <br /> the field and laboratory data generated during the sampling and analysis programs The samples <br /> will be analyzed by a state-certified analytical laboratory The laboratory will provide the <br /> analytical results as EDDs so the data can be directly uploaded to the State Water Resources <br /> 1 Control Board (SWRCB) Geographical Environmental Information Management System 1 <br /> (referred to as GeoTracker) in accordance with Assembly Bill 2886 This bill requires j <br /> ' responsible parties to electronically submit compliance data, such as soil and water analysis, and <br /> survey location and elevation data to the SWRCB <br /> 5.1 Sample Handling and Field QA/QC <br /> All samples will be appropriately collected and labeled (project name, date, sample ID, depth, <br /> ' { etc) The soil samples will be collected in sleeves and capped, and the groundwater grab <br /> samples will be placed in appropriate stenle bottles as summanzcd in Table 1 The samples will <br /> ' be placed in baggies in an ice chest cooled to approximately 4 degrees Centigrade and <br /> i <br /> transported with the cham-of=custody documentation to the laboratory for analyses <br /> Field QA/QC samples will consist of trip blanks provided by the laboratory The trip blank <br /> ' provides a check on laboratory bottle cleaning procedures and sample transport conditions One <br /> trip blank is typically used for each cooler containing soil and groundwater samples and will be <br /> tested for TPH-gasohne Equipment blank samples will not be used since new disposable bailers <br /> are being utilized for sampling Duplicate samples will not be collected for soil or groundwater <br /> grab samples, but would be collected for groundwater well samples based on the total number of �I <br /> samples being collected (typically every 10 samples analyzed requires a duplicate) <br /> I <br /> 5.2 Laboratory QA/QC <br /> 1 QA/QC measures will be taken to confirm the integrity of the laboratory data, including method <br /> blanks, surrogate spike recovenes, matrix spike recoveries, and matrix spike duplicates Method <br /> Field lavesligalion Work Plan 10 2 September Zp03 <br /> TREADWELL&ROLLO,INC. <br />
