During weekly progress meetings, the
Project Engineer and subcontractors submit written summaries of upcoming work tasks and
associated risks and control measures to the Project Manager using the Activity Hazard Analysis
(AHA) form provided as Exhibit 6-1. The weekly summaries identify upcoming mobilization or
demobilizations tasks, audits and inspections, competent person changes, training and new
activities requiring an AHA. Subcontractors add activities to these summaries at least two weeks
in advance of the work. Potential hazards are listed below.
• Chemical exposures(see matrix below)
Concentrations
Compound found in onsite Physical Description/Health Effects/Symptoms
soils
Colorless to light-yellow liquid(solid<42°F)with an aromatic odor.
Benzene Eye,nose,skin,and respiratory system irritant.
