\/
KING'S ISLAND
CHRONOLOGY
PAGE 3
09-19-96
PHS-EHD receives workplan for additonal work in the form of soil push point
borings and grab water samples. PHS-EHD approves workplan.
10-10-96
PHS-EHD visits site to observe the dulling, sampling and grouting of the soil
borings. No obvious contamination noted in any of the borings. The soil at the
site was predominately highly organic peat soils (per site geologist) which was
hard to capture in the sampling tools as it would compress instead of enter the
tube. Groundwater was entering the borings at a very slow rate and it was
decided to leave them open to sample within the next following days. PHS-EHD
observed the destruction of SB# B1 R.
11-13-96
PHS-EHD receives the report of the subsurface investigation. The report
presents the results of the soil and grab water samples collected on 10-10-96.
The results are shown below.
Nhar Samek C ffecMd October 18.1986
Resift in aq(L(ppb)
34.101.iO I GaNaw D1..a 8a I Tawe. ate. raa IrW
I ima
xWW1 Gri-1 NO ND NO I NO NO NO NA I NA
2 GVV-1 I No No ND NO NO NO I MA I NA
3 GW-1 200 NO 4.7 No 4e U NA MA
4 QW-1 300 NO ND 0.8 2.0 12.0 I 1m NA
a.hMI so s0 U I a.s 0.3 0.5 I NA I NA
a-n_-- -s CoNected an Oambar A 1998
Reaulb in u9M9(ppb( wiWa nona)1
SY11.M 1.0.
