(ATC) has prepared this letter report to summarize field activities
conducted at the above referenced site during the fourth quarter 2009 reporting period. A site
vicinity map and a site plan are provided as Figures 1 and 2, respectively.
Due to the adoption of State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) Resolution No. 2009-
0042, groundwater monitoring activities at this site will be modified to a semi-annual schedule.
Wells MW-1, MW-4, MW-5, and MW-8 will be sampled semi-annually and the remaining wells
will be sampled biennially during first quarter events of even numbered years. Chemical
analyses of the samples will include Gasoline Range Organics (GRO) by EPA Method 8015M;
and benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylenes (BTEX), methyl tertiary butyl ether
(MTBE), tertiary butyl alcohol (TBA); and tertiary, amyl methyl ether (TAME) by EPA Method
8260B. No field activities were conducted at the site during the current reporting period. The
next groundwater monitoring and sampling event is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in
March 2010.
ATC is currently developing a schedule to conduct subsurface investigation activities at the site.
The subsurface investigation activities will include the advancement of two vertical soil borings
and an estimated two additional hydropunch groundwater samples associated with one of the
proposed soil boring locations to evaluate the lateral and vertical extent of the impacted
groundwater plume and will provide confirmation of previous subsurface investigation activities
conducted at the site. This work was approved by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department (SJCEHD) through correspondence dated October 22, 2009. Once the field
activities have been scheduled, ATC will notify the SJCEHD.
SAEnvironmenta1\25847\37 Tracy\Reports\CC_37 2009 Q4.doc 1. ATC Associates Inc. `
,. 1
