The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (SJCEHD) has requested the advancement of.additional soil borings to further assess soil and <br /> groundwater conditions off-site. <br /> To evaluate the extent of MTBE in groundwater, ATC is requesting permission to install one <br /> Cone Penetrometer (CPT) soil boring at your property located 2514 Holly Drive in Tracy, j <br /> California. A workplan with site maps detailing the proposed scope of work is contained in <br /> Attachment 1 and a letter from SJCEHD requesting the installation of a CPT boring on your <br /> property is contained in Attachment 2. <br /> If the location of the proposed boring is unacceptable due to facility operations and the presence of <br /> structures, we can attempt to move the location to another area within the facility that would not <br /> impact facility operations and still satisfy the request of the SJCEHD. The drilling activities would <br /> require approximately one day of field work. Once soil and groundwater samples were collected, <br /> the boring would be backfilled with a cement grout to the surface. <br /> A copy of the laboratory results would be provided to you for your records. All costs associated <br /> with these activities are the responsibility of our client, The Customer Company. ATC would be <br /> happy to meet with you in person to discuss exactly what we are proposing to do.
