Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> Remedial Action Work Plan <br /> Additional Information <br /> 15 East Grant Line Road <br /> Tracy, California <br /> Dear Ms. Turkatte: <br /> This letter provides additional information regarding conduct of the remedial action work at 15 East <br /> Grant Line Road, Tracy, California. The project is described in a Remedial Action Work Plan 1 <br /> previously submitted by Pacific Rim Env..ronmental to the Environmental Heath Division (EHD) of <br /> the San Joaquin County Public Health Services. <br /> SEQUENCE OF SITE ACTIVITIES <br /> The lateral extent of soil and ground-water contamination will be assessed by taking soil and water <br /> samples during advancement of verification borings. Two of these verification borings will be <br /> developed into monitoring wells. Free product will be removed from ground water and then water i <br /> enriched with hydrocarbon-degrading microbes will be introduced to the zone of soil and ground-water <br /> contamination via infiltration probes. The infiltration probes will be spaced on ten foot centers within <br /> and to the periphery of the area of soil and ground-water contamination. The sequence of .site <br /> remediation and closure activities, which augment and/or replace the information given in the previous <br /> work plan, is as follows: <br /> 1. Advance verification borings / Install additional monitoring wells <br /> 2. Install temporary vapor monitoring points (TVMPs) ) <br /> 3. Remove free product <br /> 4. Monitor.ground-water quarterly <br /> -5. Install infiltration probes and inoculate contaminated zone, `soil cuttings, and purge water <br /> 6. Monitor vapors in TVMPs monthly <br /> 7 • Submit work plan addendum <br /> 8. Collect confirmation samples <br /> 9.
