stable at background readings over a period of two months, bioremediation is considered complete.
We expect the process to require about eight months.
Each month, all monitoring wells will be checked for the presence of free product, and the depth to
product or to ground water will be measured using an electronic interface probe.
Submit Work Plan Addendum
When OVA readings in the TVMPs show significantly low to non-detectable levels of volatile organic
hydrocarbon concentrations, we will submit an addendum to the original work plan describing the
progress of the project and recommending confirmation sampling and testing-protocol for site closure.
Soil and Water Sampling for Confirmation of Cleanup
Following acceptance by the EHD and Water Board of the work plan addendum, we will collect soil
and water samples as described in the addendum. If the confirmation sampling results qualify the site
for closure in accordance with the accepted work plan addendum, we will meet with EHD and obtain
permission to abandon the infiltration probes and monitoring wells. We will then abandon the probes
and wells by splitting the PVC pipe and well screen and pressure grouting the borings with cement-
bentonite grout.
Submission of Application for Site Clo.myee
We will submit the results of the confirmation sampling and infiltration probe and monitoring .well
abandonment to the EHD and Water Board in an application for site closure.
We trust this in the information you require.
