Box 388 • Stockton, CA 95201-0388 <br /> (209) 468-3420 <br /> JOHNJOHNSON C(alp'y <br /> THE CUSTOMER COMPANY <br /> P O BOX 886 A U G 2 9 1994 <br /> BENICIA CA 94510 <br /> RE: 15 EAST GRANT LINE ROAD SITE CODE: 1404 <br /> TRACY CA <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) has completed <br /> the review of the "Site Assessment Report" submitted by Pacific Rim Environmental, and has the <br /> following comments for your consideration. <br /> The last letter sent to you from this office, dated July 18, 1994, discussed several issues of concern <br /> regarding the bioremediation workplan submitted for this site which required considerable clarification. <br /> The letter also gave specific requirements for the installation of additional monitoring wells, for <br /> appropriate and additional soil and groundwater characterization, for appropriate reporting and <br /> presentation of the data for this site. for written approval from the Central Valley Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board for the application of the bacteria to the ground and groundwater, and lastly, for <br /> quarterly sampling of the wells at the site. <br /> The last submittal by Pacific Rim Environmental does not sufficiently address any of the items <br /> indicated above. Therefore, please submit a revised workplan that adequately addresses the concems <br /> and requirements, as discussed in the July 18, 1994 letter to you from PHS/EHD, by September 9, <br /> 1994. <br /> Additionally, all groundwater monitoring wells at this site must be monitored and sampled for gasoline <br /> constituents on a quarterly basis and the results are to be reported on a quarterly basis to PHS/EHD. <br /> The quarterly reports are to be submitted on a timely basis. The last sampling event took place in <br /> November of 1993. The report of this sampling was received by PHS/EHD in April of 1994.
