(ATC) has prepared this Workplan, on behalf of The Customer Company, <br /> to perform additional subsurface investigation activities at the above referenced site (Figure 1). <br /> The subsurface investigation proposed herein is intended to satisfy the directive issued by the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(SJCEHD) dated October 23, 2006. 7' �0w►0� <br /> The primary objective of the proposed investigation is to evaluate the vertical and lateral extent <br /> r of petroleum and fuel oxygenate impacted groundwater and soil, and to obtain information <br /> (r� regarding the subsurface geology and hydrology at the site. The proposed scope of work includes <br /> an underground utilities survey, obtaining drilling permits, obtaining off-site access <br /> authorization, Jnstalling_seven_g-r-ound---water monitoring.wells, collecting groundwater and(soil <br /> samples for laboratory analyses, and report preparation. The scope of work and technical <br /> justification are described in the following paragraphs. <br /> SITE INFORMATION <br /> The Former Cheaper Store #37 is located at 15 East Grant Line Road in Tracy, California as <br /> shown on Figure 2. Site features include active gasoline dispensing operations and a <br /> convenience store. The site is located in a residential and commercial area. <br /> SITE HISTORY <br /> On March 3, 1988, two 10,000-gallon underground storage tanks (USTs) were excavated and <br /> removed from the site.
