a_ e=
-
MOMR-0 M,
KLEINFELDER
visually inspect for a product layer or sheen. No product layer, zheen,
(` 1 or hydrocarbon odor were observed on the water samples bailed from the
monitoring wells.
The wells were developed with a surge, block-airlift, development tool.
Surging with the tool along the screened interval was performed to draw
the sediment into the well and set the sand pack. The sediment laden
I- water was airlifted from the well at a rate of .50 gallons per minute.
Development continued until the discharge water was relatively free of
. fines. Each well had an approximate volume of 3.2 gallons. Approximately
17 wellvolumes or 55 gallons were removed from each well during the
development.
Ips
i
On April 1 and . 4, 1988, the three wells were pugged and sampled. Water
level measurements were collected from all three wells each morning prior
t
to purging and sampling. No product layer, sheen, or hydrocarbon odor
L
I r°4 were observed-on a bailed sample from each well.
}
Each well was purged with a submersible bladder pump or a Teflon bailer.
'< While . purging MW-1,. field
parameters (pH, conductivity, and temperature)
I were monitored. Field parameters were not monitored:during the purging of
MW=2 and MW-3- After approximately five well volumes were Pp.
