Two underground fuel storage tanks were removed on March 3, 1988. <br /> Analytical results from water samples collected within the tank excavation indicated <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons were present. <br /> I Approximately 450 cubic yards of soil were removed during the tank excavation and the <br /> subsequent soil remediation excavation. The soil was stockpiled, covered, and assessed for <br /> aeration and/or disposal , Keinfelder performed a sampling assessment of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons within the stockpiled soil. The results of this screening and sampling <br /> Nprogram were presented in Kleinfelder's Soil Removal Report dated May 3, 1988 and in <br /> the Soil Aeration letter.dated May 18, 1988. Kleinfelder received authorization on May 11, <br /> f 1988 from Seyed Saderia�n of the San Joaquin Air Pollution Control District (APCI r) to <br /> aerate appro7imately 50 cubic yards of soil.
